Mode of action:Fipronil is a broad-spectrum insecticide that disrupts the central nervous system of insects by blocking

the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-gated chloride channels. This leads to hyperexcitation of the nerves, causing

paralysis and death of the pest.
